TÜBİTAK BİGG+ Success Story: a2 Technology

In order to evaluate the results of the TÜBİTAK BİGG+ Mentor Interface Program, which was implemented for the first time, a comprehensive evaluation meeting was held on 21 December 2021 with the participation of TÜBİTAK President Professor Hasan Mandal, TÜBİTAK program officials, program executive interface companies, mentors and beneficiary companies.

a2 Teknoloji was chosen as a success story, as a result of the program in which approximately 150 Mentors and more than 300 companies took part.

Our success story about the activities carried out during the program, achievements, new products and new markets was presented by our founding partners Murat Mutlu and Özcan Gülderen, together with our valuable mentor Ömer Levent Gökçe.

a2 Traffic Enforcement Systems Within Denizli City Have Been Activated

a2 Traffic Enforcement Systems within Denizli (an Aegean city in Turkey) have been activated as of Friday, October 1, 2021. Comprehensive controls will be provided by a2 systems which are spread throughout the city. There are 123 Section Speed Detection Systems in 20 corridors and also Wrong Park Detection Systems at 23 points. Thanks to the instant detection of violations, the traffic flow will become safer and the number of accidents will gradually decrease.

According to the data of the World Health Organization; Road traffic crashes lead to the loss of over 1.3 million lives and cause nonfatal injuries to as many as 50 million people around the world each year. Road traffic crashes are the main cause of death among people aged between 15 and 29 years. About 94% of all road accidents are caused by human error and most of them are a violation of Traffic Rules like Speed Limits. A 5% cut in average speed can result in a 30% reduction in the number of fatal road traffic crashes. This is why controls are extremely valuable.

In this way, we achieved 62% savings in resource consumption and hardware budget.

a2-ANPR is in Neom the Vision City of KSA

a2-ANPR Automatic Number Plate Recognition Systems continue to be commissioned in Neom, the new vision of Saudi Arabia. Within the scope of National Security projects, a2 automatic number plate recognition systems are installed throughout the country. The system detects the vehicles and makes instant security controls, and warns security operators by integration with the relevant National Services.

Denizli Traffic Enforcement Project Successfully Completed

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Traffic Enforcement Systems project has been successfully completed and passed the necessary approvals. The biggest project in Turkey which is actively used the largest number of Average Speed Detection System. Thanks to this wide detection coverage, traffic accidents in the region will decrease and city safety will increase.

The project completed in the fastest way as a result of an extremely harmonious and efficient work of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Denizli Governorship, Denizli Provincial Police Department, the contractor of the project Türk Telekom and our powerful solution partner Tekobel Technology in the Denizli region. 123 Average Speed Violation Detection Systems, 23 Parking Violation Detection Systems and a2-Backoffice Central Management System were established within the scope of the project.
