Eastern Black Sea Coastal Road Tunnels

1 Project | 2 Crucial Implementation 🤟🏻

A monumental achievement for traffic safety in Turkey – our state-of-the-art a2-VCA Automatic Incident Detection System is now operational across one of the most crucial road sections in the country, the Eastern Black Sea Coast Road traversing Giresun, Trabzon, Rize, and Artvin.

Across 28 separate tunnels with 45 bores, real-time video analysis is conducted by the a2-VCA system. It not only alerts operators in the face of any risk but also provides essential traffic data, promoting safety, and efficiency in traffic management.

With six regional command centers monitoring these tunnels, an additional primary control center in Trabzon manages the comprehensive network. Inclusive of the Salarha and Akyazı tunnels, the primary control center enables unified and centralized surveillance through our sophisticated a2-Backoffice central management solution.

A robust collaborative effort involving our global solution partners Pelco, Intel Corporation, Dell EMC (NGTech), and Belden Inc.-Hirschmann Industrial Network Solutions, alongside the project integrator Kırtur and the General Directorate of Highways, Turkey has ensured the successful implementation of this significant project.

Pirinkayalar Tunnel

a2-VCA was commissioned to maximize traffic safety in the Pirinkayalar tunnel and the related road section, which is a bidirectional single-tube tunnel of strategic and economic importance connecting Turkey to the Caucasus.

a2-VCA analysis the live video footage and generates an alarm in case of any risk and also collects traffic data.

Under the coordination of project integrator Kırtur & General Directorate of Highways, Turkey; the project was successfully completed as a result of highly harmonious work with our global solution partners Pelco, Intel Corporation, Dell EMC (NGTech), and Belden Inc.-Hirschmann Industrial Network Solutions

Sile-Agva Tunnels

a2-VCA Automatic Incident Detection System and a2-ANPR Automatic Number Plate Recognition System were preferred in order to increase traffic safety in the dual carriageway and 3 tunnel projects on it that connects the Blaksea coast regions of Istanbul and Kocaeli through Sile and Agva.

We will take place with our solution partner Arte Technology and Electromechanical Systems Integrator MC Sistem in this valuable project implemented by the cooperation of Makyol İnşaat Sanayi Turizm ve Ticaret A.Ş. and ISPA under the authority of the 1st Region of Republic of Turkey General Directorate of Highways.

We are happy to be involved in one more project with global brands such as Pelco, Dell EMC (NGTech), and Hirschmann Industrial Network Solutions.

The newly opened Kagithane-Istanbul Airport metro line connects the city and airport with 8 stations, spanning 34km of track and offering a train speed of 120km/s.

a2-VCA Video Analytics Software is in use to maximize transportation safety.

It’s been an amazing four days in Dubai at Intersec Expo 2023!

We had the opportunity to meet with our existing partners and potential partners from the region, to discuss future projects and opportunities.

We will take place with our solution partner Arte Technology and Electromechanical Systems Integrator MC Sistem in this valuable project implemented by the cooperation of Sette Yapı and Kıymet İnşaat under the authority of the 1st Region Directorate of Highways.
