Akyazi Tunnels

 

The Akyazi Tunnels located on the major route of Trabzon Coast Road significantly alleviate urban traffic. a2-VCA is in operation as the Incident Detection System to maximize traffic safety.

a2-VCA analysis the live video footage and generates an alarm in case of any risk and also collects traffic data.

Under the coordination of project integrator Kırtur & General Directorate of Highways; the project was successfully completed as a result of highly harmonious work with our global solution partners Pelco, Intel Corporation, Dell EMC (NGTech) and Belden Inc.-Hirschmann.

We have set out a new path with the aim of bringing video analysis systems to a much wider market and started to implement our solutions to cloud platforms in 2021.

Our cloud solutions, which we will start to introduce very soon, were awarded by the Huawei Cloud team.

Kizilcahamam-Cerkes Tunnel

The Kizilcahamam-Cerkes tunnel has been opened and a2-VCA is in the operation as the Incident Detection System to maximize traffic safety. a2-VCA analysis the live video footage and generates an alarm in case of any risk and also collects traffic data.

The tunnel is a single-tube bi-directional tunnel. a2-VCA Incident Detection System monitors the traffic in both directions with a single camera and performs security analytics simultaneously.

Rail Industry Show – Eskisehir 2022

In order to introduce our solutions and applications in the railway transportation vertical, we have participated in the Rail Industry Show with our solution partner Arte Technology.

Kahramanmaras-Goksun Tunnels

We are proud to improve traffic safety on the Kahramanmaras-Goksun road. AI-based solution a2-VCA Automatic Incident Detection is used in 5 tunnels which is 18 kilometers section of the project.

Komurhan Bridge and Tunnel

One more project we are proud to be a part of: “Kömürhan Bridge and Tunnel” which connects the provinces of Elazığ and Malatya in eastern Turkey.

Our safe traffic solutions a2-VCA Automatic Incident Detection and a2-PTS Automatic Number Plate Recognition systems are used in this project. A 7.5 kilometer road section is analyzed by a2-VCA to detect accident and accident-risk events in real-time. In addition, over-height vehicles are detected by a2-ANPR and immediately alert road users via the Variable Message Sign (VMS).

a2-VCA Automatic Incident Detection

Highways, which are heavily used for transportation, are the riskiest transportation network according to accident statistics. Especially, undesirable incidents that may take place on the road increase the risk of accident dramatically. In order to prevent accidents, it is crucial to be aware of the risk factors on the route in question and to eliminate these risks.

In spaces with limited escape routes, such as tunnels, highways and bridges, even a small accident can have very serious consequences. In the event of an accident, the delay in intervention causes these consequences to be even more severe.

a2-VCA Incident Detection System is a video-analysis-based safe transportation solution that instantly detects accidents or incidents that may cause accidents by processing live images taken from cameras that monitor the road in real time, and warns operators through audible and visual alarms.

One of the most used Incident Detection Solutions in Turkey, a2-VCA is working in 41 tunnels with 1,792 cameras in 8 cities.
