a2 Traffic Enforcement Systems within Denizli (an Aegean city in Turkey) have been activated as of Friday, October 1, 2021. Comprehensive controls will be provided by a2 systems which are spread throughout the city. There are 123 Section Speed Detection Systems in 20 corridors and also Wrong Park Detection Systems at 23 points. Thanks to the instant detection of violations, the traffic flow will become safer and the number of accidents will gradually decrease.
According to the data of the World Health Organization; Road traffic crashes lead to the loss of over 1.3 million lives and cause nonfatal injuries to as many as 50 million people around the world each year. Road traffic crashes are the main cause of death among people aged between 15 and 29 years. About 94% of all road accidents are caused by human error and most of them are a violation of Traffic Rules like Speed Limits. A 5% cut in average speed can result in a 30% reduction in the number of fatal road traffic crashes. This is why controls are extremely valuable.
It is not enough to develop an idea or develop a system in the face of a problem. The important thing is that your solution is feasible. This is where engineering comes in. Real engineering is to produce the optimum solution. You have to strike a balance, reduce consumption and budget while increasing efficiency.
As a2 Technology, we always value optimization and approach resource consumption sensitively while developing our applications. The most competitive strengths of a2 solutions are our optimized algorithms and unique AI models. We significantly reduce our customers’ total budget and become the preferred brand.
Intel, one of our most important solution partners, continues to support the industry with the same vision and offers new capabilities to application developers. The Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ toolkit makes an extremely important contribution to our solutions.
We train our AI models with original datasets, and thus we constantly increase our analysis success rates. Within our 2020-2021 R&D plans, we optimized our model files with OpenVINO™, increasing the working speed up to 220% without reducing the success rates. In this way, we achieved 62% savings in resource consumption and hardware budget.

A new project accomplished in KSA. a2-ANPR systems are installed at the gates of an important university in the Jeddah region. The system is integrated with the national security service, detects the vehicles & plates and automatically performs security checks through the national database.
a2-ANPR is selected against the global competitors in an important project of a government company in KSA. Challenges of the project are the reading conditions and extremely damaged licence plates of old trucks. Almost 100 systems will be used in this project. Installations of phase-1 are completed, now a2-ANPR will be spread all around the KSA.
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Traffic Enforcement Systems project has been successfully completed and passed the necessary approvals. The biggest project in Turkey which is actively used the largest number of Average Speed Detection System. Thanks to this wide detection coverage, traffic accidents in the region will decrease and city safety will increase.
The project completed in the fastest way as a result of an extremely harmonious and efficient work of Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, Denizli Governorship, Denizli Provincial Police Department, the contractor of the project Türk Telekom and our powerful solution partner Tekobel Technology in the Denizli region. 123 Average Speed Violation Detection Systems, 23 Parking Violation Detection Systems and a2-Backoffice Central Management System were established within the scope of the project.
a2-ANPR cameras were installed at the vehicle entrance points of Cardak Airport within the scope of airports security project of General Directorate Of State Airports Authority. The national police have completed all admissions procedures, and it has become operational.
a2 Technology has finalised the Artificial Intelligence-based Video Analysis Solution a2-VCA Mask Detection System. It is declared for sale in Turkey, and simultaneously in more than 20 countries in Europe and the Middle East!
The a2-VCA Mask Detection System processes the images it receives from the relevant camera located at the control point in real-time, detects passing people and determines whether they are wearing a mask. It generates an alarm instantly for the people who do not wear a mask.
